My camera and I have trekked around five continents, withstood multiple typhoons, and climbed a glacier-covered mountain. We’ve followed Spanish fishermen on pre-dawn expeditions, danced with children in the rainforest, and made friends above the Arctic Circle. These things have prepared me to shoot your event. (Seriously!) Photo shoots are always adventures. There’s not as much frostbite (probably), and fewer giant tropical spiders (hopefully), but the concept is the same. Photo sessions and events can present crazy lighting situations, crazy environmental conditions, crazy . . . relatives?
I love a challenge. I love photography. I love telling stories. I’ve got your shoot covered. My style of shooting is photojournalistic. I’ve been shooting this way for over ten years—not only in documentary, travel, and newspaper photography, but in TV/film production photography as well. As a photojournalist, I tell stories through images. My emphasis is on candid moments and captured emotions rather than on posed shots.
Every shoot is an adventure. Every adventure has a story. I look forward to telling yours.
